Fagu Shimla

Fagu is a very small hamlet which resides astride a mountain saddle along the Hindustan Tibet Road. The area gives it a rare range of sights which involve both it's northen as well as southern valleys and also the snowclad peaks associated with the Great Himalaya. In the open patches, the valleys hold tiny hamlets, orchards and also neatly terraced fields-while the area is blanketed with woodland deodar (Himalaya cedar) and also spruce. Situated at an elevation of 2,450 m, Fagu, most likely have extracted its name from the fog itself.
